Die Hard with a Vengeance

An original costume used in the production of Die Hard with a Vengeance, the third instalment in the Die Hard franchise starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson.

This shirt was obtained by the production for use by Samuel L. Jackson as Zeus Carver. The Saks Fifth Avenue branded shirt is constructed of white cotton and features the makers label to the interior collar with an additional label which is hand inscribed with the character name Zeus. Numerous shirts were distressed by the production in varying stages as Zeus gets more and more dirty and bloodied throughout the film, this example has be ripped to the right arm and distressed with studio blood relating to the scene in Harlem where his right arm is slashed as he saves John McClane (Bruce Willis), further soiling is intentionally applied to appear dirty.

The shirt remains in good production distressed and used condition.

A fine example of principal character wardrobe from this classic action franchise.
