Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

An original prop created for the production of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, the 1992 comedy sequel starring Macaulay Culkin.

This prop Chicago Sun-Times newspaper was custom made by the production for the scene early in the film as a newspaper page revealing that the Wet Bandits have escaped from prison blows against the front door of the McCallister family house. Printed on traditional newspaper stock the prop features the date Tuesday December 23, 1992 and the headline 'WET BANDITS ESCAPE DURING PRISON RIOT' with mugshots of Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) below, the writing being unrelated copy, the back page features sporting headlines and the prop remains blank to the interior.

The newspaper measures approximately 14.5" x 12" and remains in excellent production made and unused condition, exhibiting minor toning, generally fine.

A highly displayable and instantly recognisable artefact from this hugely popular film series.
