Jaws

An original still from the production of Jaws, the 1975 thriller starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss under the direction of Steven Spielberg.

This vintage original black and white still is an original studio file photograph printed on semi-gloss double weight paper stock and shows a wonderful behind the scenes image of crew preparing Susan Backlinie as Chrissy with the stunt shorts used to shoot the iconic opening attack sequence. To the verso the photograph has been stamped in ink by stills photographer Louis Goldman and hand inscribed in pencil with the reference code 536-3.

The still measures 8" x 10" and remains in near perfect original vintage condition having been archivally stored since the production, extremely fine.

A very rare still from this highly regarded Academy Award winning box office smash which on its release became the highest grossing picture of all time.
