An original still from the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 1969 serial The Space Pirates starring Patrick Troughton as The Doctor this vintage 8" x 10" still shows visual effects artist Ian Scoones rigging the minnow filming miniature during model effects photography which took place at Bowie Films.

The still originates from the personal collection of Ian Scoones and once formed part of his scrapbook, it remains in good condition with minor toning to the edges, verso exhibiting paper and glue remnants due to removal from scrapbook, recto in fine vintage condition.
