Thunderbirds (TV)

A pair of original photographs from the production of Thunderbirds, the pioneering 1960s television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.

These two vintage original black and white stills are printed on Ilford photographic stock and show the completed model of the Mole and the partially completed miniature for the Sidewinder both featured in the episode Pit of Peril broadcast in October 1965. Both stills originated from the collection of Century 21 model maker Ray Brown who was responsible for the construction of various miniatures, including the Mole, under the supervision of noted effects maestro Derek Meddings, both are signed and inscribed by Brown to the verso.

The stills each measure approximately 5" x 3.5" and remain in excellent vintage condition exhibiting only minor toning.
