Day the Earth Stood Still (The)

A original still from the production of The Day the Earth Stood Still, the 1951 science fiction classic directed by Robert Wise.

This vintage original black and white still is printed on glossy photographic paper and features one of the iconic shots from the movie showing Klaatu (Michael Rennie) standing on the saucer. This particular still formed part of the studios reference keybook for the production and is stamped 'KEY SET' in black ink to the verso, other hand inscribed annotations are also present.

The still measures 10" x 8" and remains in very good vintage condition with only minor edge wear, there are no holes or paper loss, generally fine.

A fine still with excellent imagery from this highly regarded science fiction classic.
