City Lights

An original vintage still from the production of City Lights, the 1931 silent romantic comedy written, produced, directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin.

This vintage original gelatin silver black and white publicity still measures 8" x 10" and shows screen legend Charlie Chaplin as his iconic character The Tramp. To the verso the still is hand inscribed 'CHARLIE CHAPLIN in CITY LIGHTS' with further writing relating to showings at Loews Pitkin and Loews Kings, noted theatres in New York City.

The still remains in excellent vintage and untrimmed condition exhibiting only expected corner bumping which is minimal, overall very fine.
