Blake's 7

An original prop used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

This is the original case carried by Richard Bebb as Ven Glynd in the Series 2 episode Voice from the Past, central to the storyline the case is seen throughout the episode. The case was created for the production by George Reed of the BBC Visual Effects Department and appears to be a period plastic tool case which has been sprayed silver with the addition of some detail to the top including a brass plate and piece of circuit board. The interior of the case featured pieces of foam, one of these remains with its original plastic sleeving and remnants of silver paint while the other is a modern replacement.

The case measures approximately 16" x 12" and remains in excellent screen used condition with only very minor paint wear.

This represents an incredibly rare example of an original screen used hand prop from this cult science fiction series.
