Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

An original crew patch from the production of the 1980 science fiction picture The Empire Strikes Back, the second instalment of the classic Star Wars franchise directed by Irvin Kershner.

This 'Vader in flames' patch is a crew issued original based on the logo created by conceptual designer Ralph McQuarrie, patches such as this can clearly be seen on the Norwegian unit suits that were used on location filming in Finse, Norway as seen in various behind the scenes shots.

The patch measures approximatly 5" x 3" and remains in excellent unused condition.

A displayable production artefact from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
