Merlin

An original sword from the production of the popular BBC television fantasy adventure series Merlin.

This sword and accompanying sheath were custom made for use by Anthony Head as Uther Pendragon, the king of Camelot, and is used throughout the series. The Sword is beautifully fabricated in metal with a detailed braided metal handle and lion motif to the top, the accompanying sheath is of intricate leather construction with integral belt loop and lace detailing.

The prop shows signs of heavy production use with numerous minor nicks and dents to the leading edges of the weapon with some light scuffing to the very tip. The leather sheath remains in excellent condition with light wear from production use. The sword measures approximately 40" long and 7.5" at its widest point.
