Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

An original glove used in the production of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, the first instalment in the epic adventure trilogy directed by Peter Jackson.

Gloves such as this can be seen worn by the Uruk-Hai, the advanced breed or orcs under the control of Saruman (Christopher Lee). Constructed from tough dark brown suede leather which has been distressed to give a well used appearance. The glove features some mud and dirt from production use but remains in generally excellent condition throughout measuring approximately 14" in length.

A rare wardrobe artefact from one of the most financially successful and highly regarded movie franchises in cinematic history.
