Mike Trim hand drawn concept artworks - Lord Parker's 'Oliday
A pair of original concept artworks used in the production of Thunderbirds, the pioneering television series of the 1960's created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.
These are original conceptual artworks for the solar reflector dish, the central plot device of the season two episode Lord Parker's Oliday broadcast in 1966. The artwork was hand drawn by Mike Trim, a prolific designer on several Anderson series and assistant to noted special effects director Derek Meddings, accomplished in pencil the artworks feature the top and bottom of the dish and are both signed by the artist 'M. J. Trim', both contain hand inscribed notes relating to the design.
Both pieces of artwork measure approximately 20" x 14" and remain in good vintage condition, formally folded, minor toning and staining present to both pieces not compromising artwork, minor paper loss present to same area.
