These Sodor Shilling pieces were gifted to crew members working on the production of the classic children's television series Thomas & Friends, formally Thomas the Tank Engine.

Filmed at Shepperton Studios and set on the fictional island of Sodor, Thomas the Tank engine, starting in 1983, went onto to become one of the most loved children's series in television history, this coin celebrates 25 years in production and features the Thomas and Friends logo and a Thomas crest on its respective sides.

The coin is struck in metal and measures 2 inches in diameter, presented in its original presentation box the coin remains in perfect condition.

A rare item celebrating the success of this children's television mainstay.
