Sherlock Holmes (TV) - The Memoirs of

An original prop used in the production of The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, the Granada Television adaptation based on the character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle starring Jeremy Brett in the title role.

This sign was custom made by the production and used on screen in the episode The Three Gables where it appears outside Mrs Maberley's (Mary Ellis) house. The prop is constructed from wood and features the name of the house in black paint, this unique piece can be conclusively screen matched by numerous identifying marks.

The sign measures approximately 14" wide and remains in excellent production used condition, overall fine.

An extremely rare and highly displayable artefact from the production of this well regarded adaptation.
