Terminator 2: Judgment Day

An original endoskeleton section from the production of the 1991 science fiction action blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the second instalment in the popular Terminator franchise.

This cranium section was used on one of the full scale Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) puppet doubles created by Stan Winston Studios for use where flesh was removed from The Terminator revealing the robotics underneath and Schwarzenegger was unable to perform certain shots such as in the battle scenes. This detailed cranium section is constructed from dense foam covered with a layer of thick latex rubber and is dressed with stage blood to give the damaged and bloody effect. The quality of the effects, both computer generated at Industrial Light & Magic and the highly successful practical effects by Stan Winston Studios contributed massively to the success of the picture winning Academy Awards for both visual effects and best makeup.

The piece measures approximately 5" at its widest point and remains in good production used condition.
