The costume was fabricated for the production by Jim Henson Creature Shop and comprises of a purple cowl of neoprene stretch rubber featuring a suede lining to the interior to ensure it was comfortable for Zane to wear for long periods of time during filming and an eye mask of black plastic. The costume is expertly constructed in three pieces from a custom printed stretch fabric designed to cling to the body this with an extremely fine mesh like material over the top, accompanied by a large belt of black leather featuring side holsters with skull emblem and a metal buckle similarly adorned, a pair of original boots complete the costume.
The wardrobe is presented on a posed custom mannequin with the head being a lifecast of Zane taken from a production used cast, the costume remaining in excellent production used condition throughout, minor wear to the cowl, velcro repair to nose bridge of mask and some surface wear to the leather belt consistent with use during the production. This impressive and imposing display stands 76" high and measures 38" from elbow to elbow.
