An original costume used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 2006 episode Tooth and Claw starring David Tennant as The Doctor this is the original cloak worn by Tom Smith as The Host. Sourced by the BBC from leading theatrical tailors Angels the Costumiers the floor length black cape is constructed from wool and features a large hood in a slightly different material, this would have formed part of Angels hire stock and been used in various productions over the years before appearing on screen in Doctor Who, accompanied by an original Angels the Costumiers wardrobe bag.

The costume remains in very good vintage and production used condition.
