Doctor Who

An original hand used in the long running science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 1989 serial Battlefield starring Sylvester McCoy as The Doctor this is an original hand worn on screen by Marek Anton as The Destroyer. Created for the production by freelance effects artists Susan Moore and Stephen Mansfield the hand is constructed from latex with scaly surface detail and distinctive claws finished in blue and brown paint and ink. 

The hand measures approximately 13" long and remains in excellent production used condition with some minor wear lacking one claw to the knuckle, otherwise very fine.
