Terminator 2: Judgment Day

An original shirt used in the production of the 1991 science fiction action blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the second instalment in the popular Terminator franchise.

This is one of a number of Hanes Beefy shirts acquired by the production for use by Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator. This particular shirt was one of those which had its collar area cut in order to widen it so it could be worn by Schwarzenegger during the time consuming make-up sessions with no risk of damaging the prosthetics when it was later removed, indeed a number of the shirts worn on screen were also modified to be fastened up the back again to avoid damaging the make-up required to transform Schwarzenegger to his battle damaged state. The shirt features no label to the interior collar area as it has been removed by the production during alteration but the shirt is of a large size as one would expect, it remains in good condition with some minor staining from use in make-up sessions during production.
