Superman

A collection of original storyboards used in the production of Superman, the 1978 superhero classic starring Christopher Reeve and Marlon Brando.

This production used storyboard sequence comprises of seven production issued copies from the original renderings depicting shots from the Hoover Dam sequence which combined live action and Academy Award winning miniature and visual effects. Each of the seven storyboards are headed with the name of the production 'SUPERMAN' and feature illustrations including the establishing shot, walls cracking, Jimmy Olsen and finally Superman flying in to save the day with a description of the action taking place below. The storyboards feature the name of noted special effects veteran Wally Veevers to the bottom corner, numbered 1-7 and are noted as either location or studio with the final storyboard depicting Superman flying in marked as being a rear projection shot.

The storyboards each measure approximately 11.5" x 8.25" and remain in excellent production used condition with only very minor edge and corner wear, extremely fine.
