Critters 3

An original prop used in the production of Critters 3, the third instalment in the Critters franchise directed by Kristine Peterson.

This original stunt Critter was custom fabricated for the production by renowned special effects artists The Chiodo Brothers who supplied effects to the original four films for use in scenes where the more delicate hero props were unsuitable. The Critter is constructed from foam rubber with a large open mouth full of sharp teeth and is dressed with fur, two red glass eyes complete the sinister look of the creature. This prop would also be used in the fourth instalment of the franchise which was filmed simultaneously and the final images presented here show this prop in the company of The Chiodo Brothers at their workshop.

The Critter stands 14" tall and measures approximately 9" wide, it remains in very good production used condition lacking some hair to the top of the head, the rubber remains excellent with minor paint loss in areas, otherwise fine.
