Stroh's Bohemia Style Beer bottle label
An original prop created for the production of The Shawshank Redemption, the 1994 prison drama starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman under the direction of Frank Darabont.
This Stroh's Bohemia Style Beer bottle label was custom made for the production for use on the bottles seen as Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) negotiates for the beverage which is consumed by his friends including Red (Morgan Freeman) while they tar the factory roof in the summer of 1949. The label is printed on paper and features various details regarding the brew, this is accompanied by a smaller red label for the neck of the bottle.
The sheet on which the main label is printed measures approximately 11" x 4.5" with the actual label measuring 4" x 3.5", they remain in excellent production made and unused condition, extremely fine.
An affordable artefact from the production of this Academy Award nominated and critically acclaimed masterpiece which is frequently regarded among the greatest pictures of all time.
