Production used storyboard sequence - Rickshaw chase
An original storyboard sequence used in the production of the 1983 James Bond picture Octopussy starring Roger Moore as the suave spy.
This storyboard sequence is an original production issued copy taken from the original renderings and covers the exciting rickshaw chase sequence where Bond and Vijay (Vijay Amritraj) are pursued through the streets of India by Gobinda (Kabir Bedi) after beating Kamal Khan (Louis Jourdan) at backgammon. Comprising of eight pages which each contain nine storyboard reductions with descriptions of the action below the sequence covers the rickshaw chase scene in extreme detail up to its climax where Bond and Vijay escape by driving through the advertisement. The sequence is bound by a metal clasp to the left side and features a hand inscribed name which has been crossed out to the top right corner and further inscribed 'GLEN' in pen with the first three storyboards featuring the Octopussy logo to the bottom right.
The storyboard sequence is A3 in size measuring approximately 16.5" x 11.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with some light edge wear and some rust transfer to the front and rear pages from the metal clasp, overall fine.
A fine example of original production material from one of the most celebrated franchises in cinematic history.
