Spider-Man

An original prop newspaper cover created for the production of Spider-Man, the 2002 superhero picture starring Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe and Kirsten Dunst.

This is one of several styles of Daily Bugle newspaper cover which were custom made for the production, this edition sports the headline 'SPIDER-MAN, SUPER-HERO or SUPER-ZERO?' and features one of the images of Spider-Man supplied to the Bugle by Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) in his capacity as their photographer, a newspaper of this style can also be seen on the desk of Harry Osborn (James Franco) in the 2004 sequel Spider-Man 2. The cover is printed on the type of stock traditionally used for newspapers and features weather information to the verso with various news stories and television listings to the interior.

The cover measures approximately 15" x 11.5" closed and 15" x 23" when opened, it remains in excellent condition throughout, very fine.
