Doctor Who

An original prop used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 1988 serial The Happiness Patrol starring Sylvester McCoy as The Doctor this is the original prop pistol used by one of the snipers. The weapon is the only one of its type created for the production and was built by BBC Visual Effects Department designer Mike Tucker. Constructed from various plastic and wooden parts the futuristic pistol features two barrels to the top and is is finished in silver paint with some detailing in red tape.

The pistol measures approximately 10" long and remains in excellent screen used condition with some minor paint wear, overall very fine.
