Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) costume design artwork
An original costume design artwork used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.
This is the original hand painted costume illustration created by Ken Trew during the design stages of the Seventh Doctor's costume worn by Sylvester McCoy. The costume design is accomplished on artists paper in pencil and watercolour paints and features the heading 'SYLVESTER McCOY, DOCTOR WHO - APRIL 4th 1987' and is signed by Ken Trew below. The design artwork features extensive notes describing every element of the costume in detail including the use of a handkerchief on the hat and a detailed description of the question mark jumper, it has been professionally mounted in a custom made frame with the McCoy era logo laser etched to the bottom.
The artwork measures approximately 17" x 12" with the overall dimensions of the frame being 28.5" x 18", in very fine condition throughout.
