Blake's 7

The original title sequence from the classic BBC science fiction series Blake's 7.

This sequence of acetates are the originals used in the creation of the of the season 4 title sequence which was created by Doug Burd. This lot consists of 13 plastic acetates including the deep space mode graphic and 3 other scales which were overlaid and back lit to create the moving head up display of the Scorpio, in addition there are 9 number cards used for the scrolling number sequences.

The largest acetates measure approximately 20" x 16" with the number cards measuring 5" x 4".

An interesting selection of artefacts used in the creation of this memorable title sequence which would be the final series of this cult BBC production.
