Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

An original prop from the production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the 2005 film adaptation of the famous Roald Dahl book starring Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka under the direction of Tim Burton.

This boat formed part of the original miniature of the chocolate room designed and built by the art department at 1:48 scale, this miniature representation was then scanned and a digital model formed to aid the crew in the construction of the set on the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios. The boat is sculpted in polystyrene and features a seahorse head design to the front with a quantity of wooden oars to the midsection and tail to the rear, this is hand painted and weathered in the signature pink colour.

The miniature measures approximately 8.5" long and remains in excellent production used condition, very fine.
