Life on Mars

An original prop used in the production of Life on Mars, the hit television drama series starring John Simm and Philip Glenister.

This vintage original Sony TC 270 reel-to-reel tape recorder dates to the early 1970s and was used in Sam Tyler's (John Simm) flat during the second series and can be clearly spotted on screen in episode three. The set measures approximately 20" wide with the speakers which detach from the front each being 10" wide, untested and lacking a power lead this is offered here as a screen used prop and not as a piece of working equipment, cosmetic condition remains excellent.

An interesting talking point from this very well received and multi award winning series.
