Argo

This robot head was worn on screen by noted creature performer Bill Blair. Constructed from vacuum formed plastic the two part helmet is finished in silver paint and joined by a strap to the top with holes below the ear area to fasten it when being worn, to the interior various velcro strips are present, likely to add padding for the wearers comfort. A distinguishing mark allows this helmet to be screen matched to the one worn by Blair and it also appears on the advance poster featuring John Goodman.

The robot head stands approximately 12" high and remains in good production used condition with some warping to one side from exposure to heat and missing the ear sections, otherwise fine with minimal wear to the paint finish.

A highly displayable artefact from this well received production which was the recipient of the Academy Award for Best Picture.
