Chronicles of Riddick (The)

An original Necromonger pistol used in the production of The Chronicles of Riddick, the 2004 science fiction adventure picture starring Vin Diesel.

Pistols such as this can be seen used by the Necromongers throughout the film with various types made for production this being a hero functioning light up version of the weapon. Constructed from mixed materials to include metal and plastic dressed with etched detailing of metal, the chamber contains LEDs which light up to provide an impressive strobing effect activated by a spring loaded trigger. The weapon is finished in metallic bronze which gives a weathered and used appearance and features a removable resin end which allows access to two 9 volt batteries housed in the removable lower chamber, the light up function is controlled by a switch hidden in the body of the pistol.

The weapon measures approximately 11" long and remains in excellent condition exhibiting some minor wear consistent with production use.
