Blake's 7

An original costume used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

This is an original costume worn by one of the rebels in the Series 2 episode Voice from the Past. The costume was custom made by the BBC Wardrobe Department for the production, constructed from grey wool it features a double breasted design with tie cord to the interior and button fastenings to the right side of costume. Originally a full length costume this has been modified by the BBC for use in a subsequent, unknown, production sometime in the 1980's to resemble a futuristic jacket hence is shorter than it appears on screen in Blake's 7.

The costume has no labelling to the interior and remains in excellent condition with some light wear from production use and storage.

A rare example of an early series costume from this cult science fiction series.
