Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (TV)

An original costume piece used in the production of the 1979 science fiction television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century developed by Glen A. Larson.

This collar formed part of the futuristic costume worn on screen by Morgan Brittany as Raylyn Merritt in the season one episode Happy Birthday, Buck which was broadcast in January 1980. Custom made by the costume department from deep purple satin and cotton the collar has a trim of clear PVC with piping detail to the edge and features two pieces of double sided tape to the underside where it was secured to the rest of the outfit during the production.

The collar remains in excellent screen used condition with only minor wear.
