Puppet scale headset
An original headset used in the production of the 1969 Supermarionation television series The Secret Service created by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson.
Puppet scale headsets such as this can be seen used in the episode May-day, May-day! where they are worn by the pilots of the Royal Muldova aircraft and later, more notably, by Stanley Unwin. Made in scale with Secret Service era puppet heads the prop is constructed from a rigid plastic like material with intricate wire detailing which would go over the puppets head. The headset lacks the microphone with the point where it has become detached clearly visible on the ear piece, otherwise the prop remains in good condition.
This represents a very rare and intricately made miniature prop and is a testament to the quality of Gerry Anderson's Supermarionation productions.
