Doctor Who

An original puppet head used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

This is the original Punch puppet head used in the 1983 serial Snakedance starring Peter Davison as The Doctor. Used in the Punch and Judy style puppet sketch observed by Lon and Ambril this hollow caricature style puppet head was built by Barry Smith and is constructed from plaster dressed with faux hair with a hand painted finish and material collar.

The head remains in excellent screen used condition with only minor wear and sits approximately 5" high and 6" from front to back.

An impressive and colourful display piece from the Davison era.
