Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

An original storyboard used in the production of the 1983 science fiction picture Return of the Jedi, the third instalment of the original Star Wars trilogy directed by Richard Marquand.

This storyboard is a production issued copy of the original artwork created by Industrial Light & Magic illustrator George Jenson. The storyboard features four illustrations depicting the scenes as Lando (Billy Dee Williams) battles the Sarlaac and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) making their escape from the Sail Barge.

The storyboard measures approximately 8.5" x 11" and remains in excellent condition having been carefully stored since the production, from the collection of second assistant director Michael Steele.

An affordable example of original production material from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
