Doctor Who

An original script used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

This is an original production used rehearsal script for the 1983 feature length episode The Five Doctors produced in commemoration of the shows 20th anniversary. The script comprises of 205 green pages in addition to the cover page which details the crew and filming dates and a further two pages containing cast lists, set list and model requirements, the cover of the script is dated 8.2.83, some nine months prior to its eventual screening. The script is bound by a period binding pin to the top left hand corner and given the feature length nature of the episode is extremely substantial for a Doctor Who script measuring approximately 1" thick.

The script remains in good production used condition with a loose front page and some oxidisation to the binding pin, to be expected given its 30 year age. The script also exhibits light soiling to the cover page and some light edge wear but remains a fine example from a historic serial of the cult science fiction series.
