Space: 1999

An original script used in the production of the cult science fiction series Space: 1999 produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.

For the Year One episode Alpha Child this is a final shooting script is dated 19th June 1974 with the writing credit given to Edward di Lorenzo rather than Christopher Penfold who rewrote the script. The script consists of 60 pages in addition to the cast and set lists and is bound within a wraparound cover of green card which bears the title of the series and episode with the name 'C R Howard 75' hand inscribed in pencil to the top right corner. The script is accompanied by 17 loose pages of blue amendments which are each dated 1.7.74, as these were never added to the script as intended and remained loose, the original pages are still present in the script which provides a fascinating insight into the changes which were made.

The script remains in excellent production used condition throughout with only minor edge wear, the amendment pages having been stored inside the front are also very fine.

An excellent and rare example of an original Year One script from this acclaimed television series.
