Dune

An original concept design used during in the production of David Lynch's 1984 film adaptation of Dune, based on the novel by Frank Herbert.

This is a production issued copy of a concept design for the Atreides ship taken from the original rendering created by production designer Anthony Masters. The concept shows the detail of the ships doorway and is noted 'THE ATREIDES SHIP (DETAIL OF DOOR SECTION FOR MATTE PAINTING)'.

The concept measures approximatly 13.5" x 8.5" and remains in generally excellent condition with only minor edge wear and light creasing, overall fine.

A displayable production artefact from this box office flop which later achieved cult status with science fiction fans.
