Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Original R2 parts created for the production of the 1999 science fiction picture The Phantom Menace, the first instalment of the Star Wars prequel trilogy directed by George Lucas.

Made for use on R2-D2, everyones favourite astromech droid, this production made holographic projector part is cast in resin with imitation glass 'eye' and is unfinished and unpainted with some flashing still present to the resin parts, made during production this was ultimately surplus to requirements and ultimately unused.

The projector has a diameter of approximately 2" and remains in excellent production made condition.

An affordable R2 related artefact from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
