Sherlock Holmes (TV) - The Memoirs of

An original binder used in the production of The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, the Granada Television adaptation based on the character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle starring Jeremy Brett in the title role.

This binder and contents was utilised during the production serving as a bible for the episode The Red Circle. The folder contains a wealth of production material to include running orders, memos, 9 large floor plans showing the design of the various sets, schedules, notes, maps, a quantity of original photographs taken by the art department for continuity purposes to include a large number of Polaroids, A large 8" x 10" photograph is also present showing Jeremy Brett and the red circle.

This material in contained within a black binder of leatherette measuring approximately 12.5" x 9.5", the contents remaining in very good production used condition exhibiting minor wear from use and handling, there is some considerable moisture damage to the large photograph, otherwise largely fine.

A very rare and comprehensive example of original production material from this well regarded adaptation.
