Poltergeist

An original storyboard used in the production of Poltergeist, the 1982 supernatural horror produced by Steven Spielberg.

This storyboard was utilised at Industrial Light & Magic during the production of the films visual effects work. The storyboard is dated 8-6-81 and is printed on orange paper with the scene description 'CLOSE ON CAMERAS LOOKING UP STAIRCASE, A CRAWLING MASS DECENDS - RESEMBLING A GIANT HAND WITH LONG SEARCHING FINGERS' below and features special effects notes regarding the ectoplasm, animation and cloud tank, it is hand inscribed below 'ARTICULATE MATTE OF LAMP AND BRANCH' in black pen.

The storyboard remains in excellent production used condition and is hole punched for binder use, very fine.
