Production used clapperboard
An original clapperboard used in the production The Adventures of Pinocchio, of the 1996 film adaptation directed by Steve Barron.
This production used clapperboard is constructed from semi translucent perspex with an affixed wooden clap stick and bears the movie title 'PINOCCHIO' etched to the top. The board bears the names of director Steve Barron and director of photography Juan Ruiz Anchia etched in black and features various spaces where information could be placed with the 'SCENE', 'SLATE' and 'TAKE' options being hand inscribed on applied tape. The clapperboard retains its hand inscribed markings from its last use during the production including the date '14-10-95' with some of the writing partly faded but remaining legible.
The clapperboard measures approximately 11" x 9" and remains in excellent production used condition with some wear to the clap stick and light surface scratching to the perspex, overall very fine.
A fine example of the iconic clapperboard which was clearly well used during the production.
