'Allo 'Allo!

An original kepi used in the production of the classic BBC wartime television sitcom 'Allo 'Allo! created by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft.

This kepi officers hat was worn by Officer Crabtree, the undercover British agent who masquerades as a Gendarme, portrayed throughout the series by actor Arthur Bostrom. Constructed from material with plastic peak the hat originates from noted industry costumiers Bermans and Nathans who supplied numerous wardrobe items to the production. The hat features a insignia patch in addition to a number eighteen badge of metal to the front with the interior leather band featuring heavy make up staining from its time spent worn during the production.

The kepi measures approximately 7.5" wide, 10.5" front to back and sits 4.5" tall with no sizing information marked to the interior, it remains in excellent production used condition throughout.
