Sherlock Holmes (TV) - The Memoirs of

An original prop used in the production of The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, the Granada Television adaptation based on the character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle starring Jeremy Brett in the title role.

Newspapers such as this were custom made by the production for use by various characters and as set dressing. The Statesman newspaper features various articles unrelated to the series to the front and back and is blank to the interior, it measures approximately 23" x 18" and remains in fair folded condition with some small holes to the fold lines.

An extremely rare artefact from the production of this highly regarded adaptation.
