Nightmare Before Christmas (The)

An original miniature used in the production of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the 1993 stop motion animation favourite directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton.

Miniature railings such as this can be seen used on the Halloween Town graveyard set which features predominantly at the beginning of the movie. The miniature is hand made from a soft flexible wood, such as balsa, and is hand painted black with white highlights, to the verso are glue remnants where it was attached on set for filming.

The miniature measures approximately  18" long and remains in excellent production used condition, very fine.
