Nightmare Before Christmas (The)

An original prop created for the production of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the 1993 stop motion animation favourite directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton.

This gravestone was used on the Halloween Town graveyard set which features predominantly at the beginning of the film. The miniature is constructed from plywood and has been meticulously hand painted to a textured finish. This stone can be seen on screen behind Sally as she picks the ingredients for her soup and features glue and bonding to the bottom where it was adhered to the set during production.

The miniature measures an impressive 11" high 4" at its widest point, it remains in excellent production used condition with some edge wear, overall fine.
