Nightmare Before Christmas (The)

An original prop used in the production of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the 1993 stop motion animation favourite directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton.

Spikes such as this can be seen surrounding the crypt featuring the gargoyle as Jack sings his lament in the Halloween Town graveyard. The miniature is constructed from hand carved wood and has been painted to a textured finish, to the base is a quantity of glue where it was adhered to the set during production.

The spike measures approximately 9" long and remains in excellent production used condition with only minor edge and paint wear, very fine.
