Return to Oz

An original costume used in the production of Return to Oz, the 1985 fantasy picture directed by Walter Murch.

The Munchkin tunic was custom made for the production by leading theatrical tailors Bermans & Nathans for use in the climactic sequence of the movie which take place in the Royal Palace. Constructed from cream material the costume features leather collar and cuff detail with string ties and retains its original Bermans & Nathans label to the interior which is type written 'Kevin Hudson, 1359, Munchkin 5', furthermore two Disney Pictures and TV barcode label are present.

The wardrobe remains in very good vintage condition, overall fine.
