Blake's 7

An original costume used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

From the Season 4 episode Headhunter this is an original costume worn on screen by Nick Joseph as Muller's android. This costume is one of two custom made for the serial by the BBC Wardrobe Department and is expertly constructed from heavy blue material with red velvet detailing. The costume features mesh squares to the chest area which allowed the actor some vision for scenes where the android is without a head, for these scenes it was worn on a rig above the actors head with him looking through the chest, a detachable hood completes the costume which is signed to the interior by actor Nick Joseph in marker pen.

The costume remains in excellent screen used condition, very fine.
